Mr. Hemmer receives an award Mr. Hemmer was a Bachelor of Science in Education From Southeast Missouri State.

Mr. Hemmer then taught at a Catholic high school for two years, where he was the head wrestling and assistant football coach.

Military Service

Mr. Hemmer at Work

Mr. Hemmer joined the Navy in March 1980.

He served on the USS Dubuque in the main propulsion officer. He also served on the USS St. Lois as the chief engineer and on the USS MT Hood as the executive officer.

In Addition, Mr. Hemmer was part of the Commander Surface Squadron One as the material Commander, and he was also in the Naval Liason Office in Brazil.

He retired as a Commanding Officer in February 1997.

Today

Mr. Hemmer at sea

After he retired, Mr. Hemmer was the principal at St. Clair Co. Alternative School.

We are now proud to have him as part of our staff as one of the Physical Education teachers.
